Sandra Mujinga lives and works in Berlin and Oslo.

She studied at the Art Academy Malmö (Lund University), the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, and the Einar Granum School of Art in Oslo.

She is part of a generation of artists who draw their inspiration from the world of physical and virtual space, between the internet and the media, online music distribution networks, nightclubs, or still, activist organisations. Mujinga believes that science fiction allows exploring universes where humans are not necessarily the protagonists. Her sculptures evoke octopuses, elephants, with elements that look like tentacles.
